These are some frequently asked questions about PoxClin and KidsClin products.
Treatment time varies depending on the severity of the cradle cap, normally it takes between 1 – 4 weeks.
KidsClin® Cradle cap is clinically tested and safe to use by all children. There are no known side effects associated with the use of KidsClin®.
Cradle cap is recognized by the large, greasy, yellow or brown scales on your baby's scalp. The scales flake and may make the affected skin look red. Sometimes the hair can also come away with the flakes, but it will grow back. It usually occurs on the scalp but can also affect the face, ears, neck, nappy area and armpits, and behind the knees
The exact cause of cradle cap is not clear, although it may be linked to:
• High levels of a oily substance called sebum• A reaction to a yeast called malassezia on the skin• an insufficient amount of an essential fatty acid called Gamma-linolenic acid (GLA.)• The strength and uniqueness of KidsClin Cradle Cap is that it helps treat all of the above symptoms.
When using KidsClin for the first time, the sponge can be used for safe removal of flakes. The comb is used to carefully remove flakes from the child's hair.
